Today Margot attended the AACTA Awards where she was presented with the Best Lead Actress in Film award for her performance in “Barbie” as well as International Film for the movie. On an even more important note, she also was the recipient of the prestigious AACTA Trailblazer Award. Previous recipients of the award include Chris Hemsworth and Isla Fisher, which recognises the achievements of Australian stars, providing inspiration to other up and comers.

This marks Margot’s first time appearing on the red carpet of the AACTA’s, and as an award being specially presented to Margot, of course she had to bring the drama. Her shimmering, bustier gown is a remake from the original two-piece presented at the Vivienne Westwood Spring 1998 Collection, titled “Tied To The Mast”. The collection itself tells the tale that “in the event of an attack or storm, women onboard a ship were tied to the pirate ship’s mast to ensure their safety.”

Complimenting her gown are a pair of Christian Louboutin “Me Dolly” 100 Embellished Metallic Suede Mules, available for £1,429.44.

As with previous looks, she wore a selection of Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

On the red carpet, her assistant can be seen carrying a Judith Leiber Silver & Pink Iridescent Clutch.
